HS Timber Group has agreed to acquire 100% of Malå Såg AB from Setra Trävaror AB, strengthening its portfolio of high-quality wood products sourced from sustainably managed Swedish forests.

Wood products company Setra has reported an operating profit of SEK 564 million (442) for the second quarter of 2022. Net sales totalled SEK 1,792 million (1,529).

Setra recently invests immensely in Bergslagen to grow its capacity at the sawmills in Heby and Hasselfors.
