Recently, Sonae Arauco has celebrated the Native Forest Day, a reminder of the vital role native species play in preserving biodiversity and protecting our ecosystems.
During the celebration, over 60 volunteers from SONAE companies gathered in Castelo de Paiva for a forest clean-up and reforestation initiative as part of the Sonae Forest project. The volunteers focused on cleaning the area and planting native trees, which are essential to maintaining the natural heritage of forests and ensuring their resilience for future generations.
