Sodra Wood is going to open a sales office in the U.S, as well as subsidiary in the state where operations will be located. The company will be wholly owned by Södra Skogsägarna ekonomisk förening and will consist of a Swedish Board of Directors and a President who will be responsible for the operations.
“The opening of a sales office by Södra Wood in the U.S. will facilitate more business since we will expand our market presence and generate more contacts,” says Håkan Svensson, President of the business area.
Sodra Wood already has a market presence and in the U.S and the purpose of the new office is to boost sales of sawn timber. The sales office will be established in the southeastern part of the U.S.
