With SICAM 2025 now concluded, attention turns to the 17th edition of SICAM, scheduled for 20th to 23rd October 2026. The next fair promises to build on the successes of this year’s event, with even more opportunities for exhibitors and visitors to explore the future of the furniture industry. As the demand for sustainability, innovative design, and advanced technologies in furniture continues to grow, SICAM remains a vital platform for companies to stay ahead of the curve.
The 17th SICAM will once again bring together key professionals from around the world, providing an essential meeting point for those shaping the future of the furniture sector. As always, the fair will feature the latest design trends, furniture components, and production technologies, helping attendees stay informed and inspired.
The 16th edition of SICAM, the International Exhibition of Components, Semi-Finished Products, and Accessories for the Furniture Industry, concluded on October 17th, 2025, in Pordenone, Italy, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. The event proved to be a significant milestone for the furniture industry, showcasing the latest innovations in furniture design, components, and accessories. This year, the fair continued to build on its reputation as one of the most important global events for professionals within the sector.
SICAM 2025 attracted 23,818 visitors from 113 countries, representing over 9,300 companies. Italy accounted for the largest share, with 61% of the attendees coming from the host country. Additionally, strong delegations from Germany, Spain, China, and Eastern Europe reflected the exhibition’s international appeal. This diverse turnout is a testament to SICAM’s growing global reach and its significance in the furniture sector.
The exhibition space, which spanned 19,150 square meters, was fully occupied by 692 exhibitors from 33 countries. These exhibitors ranged from small enterprises to larger industry leaders, showcasing a wide array of products and solutions for the furniture supply chain. The fair covered all aspects of the industry, from raw materials to the latest production technologies.
SICAM 2025 has once again proven to be a hub for furniture innovation, presenting cutting-edge solutions that combine creativity, beauty, and functional design. As one attendee noted, “If the creativity, beauty, charm, innovative functionality, and intelligent solutions we’ve seen over these four days at SICAM become part of next season’s furniture collections, we can expect to see furnishings that are not only beautiful but also comfortable and highly functional.”
This statement perfectly captures the essence of SICAM 2025. The fair offered visitors a glimpse into the future of furniture, where design, comfort, and intelligent functionality come together. Exhibitors presented everything from materials and components to complete solutions that cater to the growing demand for innovative and sustainable furniture.
Over four days, exhibitors and visitors were fully engaged in business-focused interactions. Networking was at the heart of SICAM, with countless opportunities for companies to forge new business relationships and discuss the future of the furniture industry. The fair successfully balanced the time spent on business goals with an increasingly rich fuori salone program.
This program, which was organised by companies and included events under the initiative ‘Enjoy Pordenone with SICAM’, played a key role in the event’s success. It provided a relaxed setting where informal meetings, social gatherings, and moments of conviviality sparked new ideas, inspiration, and business opportunities.
As SICAM organiser Carolina Giobbi commented, “The right balance between the time spent at the fair and everything that happens afterwards is certainly one of the key ingredients of SICAM’s success. Informal meetings, conviviality, and the simple pleasure of being together often spark new ideas, inspiration, and opportunities for the future.”
A special tradition of SICAM is its focus on young talent. On the final day of the event, a large group of students from local schools and design institutes were invited to attend and learn how furniture design and the furniture industry can shape their professional future. The students participated in a session with the ADI Friuli Venezia Giulia Delegation of the Italian Association for Industrial Design, exploring how design can impact the future of the furniture sector.
This initiative has become a cherished tradition, highlighting SICAM’s commitment to encouraging the next generation of designers and innovators in the industry.
The success of SICAM 2025 confirms the fair’s maturity and importance in the global furniture sector. With consistent growth in both exhibitor and visitor numbers, SICAM has firmly established itself as a key event for anyone involved in the furniture supply chain. As Carolina Giobbi reflected, “For several editions now, SICAM has been an unmissable event for everyone in the furniture supply chain. All professionals of the sector come to SICAM, and we take great pride in organising it, even though the true credit goes to the drawing power of the companies that choose to exhibit here in Pordenone.”
