SCM, a global leader in secondary woodworking machinery production, has confirmed its participation in the upcoming WoodTech Woodworking Machinery Fair.

CNC machining centres for routing and drilling: morbidelli m100
Highly modular 5-axis CNC machining centre that provides answers to all the problems associated with woodworking.
Unmatched finishing is possible thanks to the JQX (Just Quality eXtreme) 5-axis direct-driven spindle head which ensures the total absence of vibrations even with huge material removal at high speed and with the high-performance drilling heads with RO.AX (Rotoaxial spindle technology) spindles and rotation speed up to 8000 rpm.

All the machining work is done without removing the spoil panel, even in 3D thanks to the X-POD suction cups. This dramatically reduces the machine’s set-up times.
Another advantage is its maximum precision: even the smallest pieces can be blocked during machining thanks to the X-Vacuum system which activates a dynamic vacuum concentrated on the worktable zone where machining is ongoing.

The compact drilling heads, with their design, allow to achieve high levels of performance and efficiency.
The worktable guarantees perfect drilling of delicate surfaces with superior finishing results; the profiling hold-down grippers allow to machine panels even on the inside of the gripper area, while cutting down cycle times and optimising workpiece changes.
Other significant innovations are the innovative panel return systems with automatic unloading and the possibility of having customised spindles for customised machining.

Edgebanding: stefani range for industry
stefani kd: the ideal edgebander for working different types of panels even with delicate surfaces thanks to the upper belt presser.
The SGP glue pot, fitted as standard, with the special anti-adherent plasma treatment, allows the use of two different types of glue, EVA and PUR for perfect edgebanding quality.
stefani md: the SGP glue pot, supplied as standard, guarantees a perfect joint line thanks to the special spreading roller and a perfect dosage of the glue and also allows the use of EVA and PUR glues with a fast and simple glue changeover.
Thanks to the working speed of up to 25 m/min and the possibility of processing more radii, stefani md is ideal for the industry that needs to continuously produce numerous different types of panels.
Sanding: dmc system t
Also, on display at Woodtech is the dmc system tm 1350, a configuration dedicated to the furniture industry and third parties requiring sanding machines and systems for high-quality sanding able to machine in high-productivity lines. This calibrating-sanding machine is used to create excellent finishes on both RAW and painted panels.
A distinctive plus comes from the extractable internal crossbelt unit designed to achieve superior quality finishes and to facilitate belt changing operations to switch from one process to another thanks to the extractable unit.
Solid wood: superset nt
WoodTech visitors will also be able to discover the many advantages of superset nt, the ideal throughfeed moulder to carry out a wide variety of products: profiles for windows, doors, stairs, beads, frames and furnishings.
The machine structure has been designed to enable the operator to work in ergonomic and safe conditions: special supports allow to hang the dust collection covers directly on the base, the sector for the right fence is adjustable by using a pneumatic selector and millimeter lines simplify the manual positioning of the machining units.
Joinery machines
Also on show the most representative SCM joinery machines, world leader for top of the range, unique performance and continuous innovation: class m 3 multiblade rip saw, nova si 400 circular saw, nova s 520 nova thicknessing planer, nova f 520 surface planer, nova ti 105 moulder, e 20 edge bander, and formula s 740p band saw.
