The ForMóbile international trade fair, a premier event for the wood and furniture industry, took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from July 2 to 5. The fair once again established its prominence with over 50,000 attendees and more than 550 exhibitors. SCM also celebrated its success in the event while bringing the best before the industry.
SCM stood out at the event, attracting numerous professionals, companies, and industry experts throughout the fair. The company experienced substantial opportunities in terms of orders, negotiations, and networking. Marcos Muller, SCM Brazil Country Manager and Regional Manager of South America, highlighted the event’s success, noting SCM’s continuous growth in orders, turnover, and partnerships with leading market customers, reaffirming their significant presence in the region.
The company’s 1,000 square metre stand showcased a diverse range of technologies and services tailored for the woodworking industry, emphasizing new trends in furniture and design. The Smart&Human solutions, a hallmark of SCM, were designed to meet various production needs in the sector. These solutions, paired with the Maestro suite’s software and digital services, garnered significant interest from visiting companies.
‘The event,’ Muller concludes, ‘was a great success and provided an important opportunity to present our innovations and strengthen our relationships with customers and industry partners’.
The 2024 edition, which took place from July 2nd to 5th, was marked by a high volume of closed deals, a fact that reflects the power of the sector. Besides the successful partnerships, the number of visitors also exceeded expectations. More than 50 thousand people visited the São Paulo Expo during the four days of the event, a record number. In this edition, the fair also had more than 550 exhibiting brands (national and international), occupying 50 thousand square meters of the pavilion.
Thus, ForMóbile consolidated itself as the largest and most complete fair of the furniture sector in Latin America. It is aimed at the entire furniture production chain, from the small joiner to the large industrialist, bringing the main solutions, trends and cutting-edge technologies for the furniture sector.
The next edition is already slated for June 30 to July 3, 2026, marking the event’s 11th occurrence and promising to be the most impressive yet. With high expectations for continued success, the industry eagerly looks forward to celebrating the upcoming edition of ForMóbile.
