The PMI 025 is the sixth impregnation line from Schattdecor at the site in Italy. This 83-metre-long giant enables exceptional production speeds and the processing of larger paper sizes — up to a sheet size of 2.80 m and an impregnation speed of up to 90 m/min. With its twelve drying ovens, the plant will play a central role in processing international orders. It specialises in white and decorative surfaces in double-sheet format, which is a significant step towards the future of production.
Marco Aquino, Managing Director in Italy, is pleased with the new impregnation system: “With this new system, we are consolidating Schattdecor’s role as a comprehensive partner for our customers — a further step towards providing our customers with solutions from a single source in the usual high quality and reliability they have come to expect.”
Thanks to its modern and versatile machinery, Schattdecor offers fast, high-quality service in Italy — not only domestically, but also throughout the Mediterranean region and beyond. This strengthens the group’s position as a reliable partner and demonstrates its commitment to offering a broad product portfolio, tailor-made solutions, and a constant focus on market needs — always in line with the requirements and challenges of our time.
