Juergen Schroeer takes over as the CEO of Robert Burkle GmbH

Juergen Schroeer

Dipl.-Ing. Juergen Schroeer has been named as the CEO of Robert Burkle GmbH since June 1, 2022. He was, however, already active as CEO from 2014 to 2019. From 2020 to the end of May 2022 he goes along with the company as Chairman of the Advisory Board. In addition to his duties as CEO, Schroeer is also responsible as COO for the group’s operating business. Frank Gollwitzer has been named as the New Chief Financial Officer(CFO).

Schroeer comments, “With Frank Gollwitzer, we could attract a financial expert with experience in project- oriented mechanical and plant engineering. Olaf Rohrbeck continues his successful work as CSO / CTO responsible for sales, marketing and technology. Rohrbeck brings his extensive experience to the complex international markets to the further optimization of our competitiveness. After my years as chairman of the advisory board, I am looking forward to actively shaping the operational realignment of our group of companies,” on the tasks of the management.

Highest order value in the company’s history

In fiscal year 2021 Burkle reached record order intake, at the end of May this year, even the largest single order in the company’s history. Burkle’s 4 production sites worldwide are working at maximum capacity.

Growth drivers here include the successful photovoltaic laminators. With this
innovative technology, the Burkle Group is contributing to the energy turnaround in Europe and the expansion of renewable energies. In other product segments, such as systems for the insulation industry, the printed circuit board industry and the wood- based materials and furniture industry, current business figures are also exceeding expectations and plans.

Reduction of complexity, steady growth

Burkle Group is positioning itself to be even more agile and flexible. “We are developing an individual growth strategy for each technology segment. Our organization is clearly focused on its respective business area. We want to achieve leadership in all the market segments relevant to us,” CEO Schroeer sets as a guideline.

The objective is to respond strategically and operationally to the needs of very different markets. “We are confident in the management team, that this will enable us to expand our technology leadership. In all product ranges high performance and clear accountability open growth areas and earnings potential,” emphasizes Juergen Schroeer.
