REHAU has unveiled new additions to its cabinetry program, enhancing its RAUVISIO HouseSM surface lines with appliance end panels, raw MDF floating shelves, and glass inserts for shaker doors. These high-quality products are designed to help cabinet shops meet the growing demand for personalised spaces, offering expanded customisation opportunities for clients.
Appliance End Panels
REHAU has introduced 1.5-inch-thick appliance end panels, available in any color from its RAUVISIO brilliant™, RAUVISIO noir™, RAUVISIO crystal™, RAUVISIO terra™, and RAUVISIO ingrain™ surface lines. These panels, which can accommodate a range of appliances, are available in sizes up to 4 feet wide by 9 feet high. Finished with REHAU LaserEdge™ technology, the panels provide a seamless appearance, emphasizing REHAU’s commitment to making high-end cabinet customization accessible and aligning with modern design trends.
“The appliance end panel is intended to take work off of our customers as a ready-to-use product,” said Mark Kraus, director of engineering for REHAU’s interior solutions division. “This product showcases our innovative approach to fabrication, offering a complete solution for concealing appliance sides and contributing to cohesive designs.”
Raw MDF Floating Shelves
REHAU has expanded its floating shelves line with raw standard-grade MDF shelves, allowing for complete customization by cabinet shops. These unfinished shelves offer flexibility for finishing, whether through painting, laminating, or leaving them in a rustic state. The shelves feature a patented bracket design, supporting up to 15 pounds per linear foot, and offer a slightly thicker profile at 2 1/2 inches.
“The new raw MDF floating shelves provide the same benefits as our existing shelves but in a form that expands customization opportunities,” Kraus explained. “These shelves are designed to meet the needs of clients who want to add their own personal touch.”
Glass Inserts for Shaker Doors
REHAU has also enhanced its shaker door offerings by adding the option of pre-installed 1/4-inch-thick tempered glass inserts. Available in clear or frosted glass, these inserts can be added to finished shaker doors, which are constructed from five RAUVISIO panels and assembled with REHAU LaserEdge on all four sides. The doors, available in RAUVISIO brilliant™, RAUVISIO noir™, RAUVISIO shade™, RAUVISIO terra™, and RAUVISIO ingrain™, can be built in sizes up to 30 inches wide by 65 inches high.
“Our shaker doors with glass inserts come ready for use, allowing cabinet shops to offer more options to their clients without additional labor or costly machinery investments,” said Kraus. “They add a high-end, elegant look to kitchens, accent walls, or display cabinets.”
