REHAU celebrated edging symposium for the first time in Pesaro, Italy after the successful celebration of 32nd edition of the REHAU edging symposium in March in Schopfloch. The event was celebrated on June 15, 2023 at the Biesse partner company. It welcomed some 80 participants while they carried the motto of “The perfect component”. The participants included some well known clients of REHAU and Biesse from Italy.
The event discussed and showcased the new products, innovations and developments in the field of edgings. REHAU arranged the occasion partnered with the machine developer and manufacturer Biesse and even intended to extent the event after its grand success. “It offered all parties a great opportunity to exchange ideas and get first-hand information. With the event in Italy, we were now able to offer this to an international audience,” says Andrea Bucciarelli, REHAU Manager Sales Interior Solutions Italy.
Like the celebration in March, The Italian edition of REHAU edging symposium also had the same motto “The perfect component”. This is a particular topic that has been driving the current interest of the edging industry. The event mainly focused on the topic of “efficiency” while the visitors benefited from the showcase of new innovations in the field of furniture edges and surface solutions. The event also poured light on design trends, sustainability, digitalization and qualitative achievement in the same fields. Biesse making the best use of this event and presented its newly developed technology HFS Hydrogen Force System. This new technology is for perfect and easy edge processing.
The guests and visitors gained a lot of knowledge from this exciting event. The success of the event was inevitable with the effective collaboration of REHAU and Biesse within the framework of the symposium. Pierluigi Tacchi, Sales Director Edgebanding at Biesse, therefore pointed out that, “In close cooperation with REHAU, we were able to organize a successful edging symposium that gave our guests from all over the world deep insights and provided them with real added value. The positive response shows us that this was the right step and that there is a great need for such specialist events”.
