“When customers call LVL “the new steel“, we know something extraordinary is happening.” – RAUTE.
VMG Lignum’s LVL mill addition represents their vision of sustainable construction becoming reality. As they put it: “LVL as the new steel is the key for transforming the construction industry as a whole”— enabling buildings to evolve from hybrid structures to predominantly engineered wood, competing directly with concrete and steel.
Their technology partnership since 2009 has grown from individual equipment deliveries to this comprehensive mill solution. VMG’s success in exporting to over 40 countries worldwide demonstrate how collective expertise drives breakthrough innovations. It’s partnerships like these that prove engineered wood’s potential to transform construction for a more sustainable future.
VMG Lignum takes a giant leap towards creating a sustainable home by adding LVL mill. VMG LIGNUM is a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality engineered wood products, including glued particle boards (PB), I-JOIST, LVL that are designed for use in residential, commercial, government, and public construction projects. Their goal is to empower construction companies to improve their project flexibility and speed by providing a wide range of engineered wood products and services.
For VMG Group, the data shows that building with wood is booming in Europe, and it wants to be on top of this sustainable future direction. LVL delivers much more than solid wood, however. It is dimensionally accurate, stable, and is a stiff load-bearing component which allows quick installation time, less disturbance, and less waste to dispose of on construction sites.
Recently, Raute awarded Supplier of the Year for the second time. The EWTA Supplier Awards Program recognizes EWTA (Engineered Wood Technology Association) member companies that excel in serving their APA (The Engineered Wood Association) member manufacturer customers and developing innovative solutions to processing problems and challenges.
