Raute has set up a regional service centre in Italy. The company will assist customers in Italy and Spain in maximising the use of the delivered technologies over their entire lifecycle through the use of a skilled local service team. Raute’s current sales representation in Italy is complemented with local service presence as well.
Raute services have already been rendered on a local level in Spain, Hungary and Italy in the summer of 2022. One of the clients who has enthusiastically embraced the neighbourhood service hub is the Italian company Bonzano Group.
Local service significantly improved
Two plants are outfitted with Raute technology in DERULA KFT, a member of the Bonzano Group with headquarters in Hungary. However, it was difficult to get a technician quickly, and it wasn’t always the same person. Maintenance contracts have already made significant improvements in terms of help and decreased downtime. According to Andrea Novara, Head of Technical Department, Bonzano Group, local service has significantly improved in these areas, and the organisation is now extremely happy with the local service, which is represented by their reference technician, who is always easy to reach and does not depend on planes, airports, rented cars, and other similar things with a significant saving in time and money.
In its recent strategic effort to enhance the value of forest assets, Raute also recently modified its main organisational structure. With this choice, the current operational and strategic development goals will be more effectively addressed. As of January 1, 2023, Raute will have three business units: Wood Processing, Analyzers, and Services, each with a unique focus and accountability for its own business operations. The Executive Board will be comprised of the CEO, three Executive Vice Presidents—one for each business unit—and the Chief Executive Officer, Chief People Officer, and Chief Financial Officer.
