Now the PEFC is getting user friendly. PEFC international and PEFC Italy is going to explore the links between the Universal Exhibition of Milan and the worlds’ forests at a special seminar in Milan, Italy, on October 15.
For those of who can’t make it to Milan today, they can join them online as the PEFC members stream the meeting live! To be an online visitor one can visit the World Association of Agronomists website from 16.00 CEST to take part.
PEFC-certified wood took center stage at this year’s EXPO, as larch, spruce and fir all played their part in forming the basis of many of the EXPO pavilions. Several countries, including Austria, Belgium, China, France and Thailand, as well as companies such as Slow Foods and Lindt, chose PEFC-certified wood for their walls, roofs, railings and entire structures.
Those attending the seminar PEFC would like to thank those to support the World Association of Agronomists and moreover they could get a chance to visit a selection of the pavilions made from PEFC-certified wood, before attending the 4pm live streaming event.
