National Timber Group appoints their new Managing Director of NTG England – Ed Holder.
Ed, formerly the managing director of specialist timber merchant SV Timber—acquired by NTG in 2022—brings over 30 years of expertise in the timber industry, with a strong track record of driving transformational growth. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in building and expanding businesses, including founding SV Timber Ltd in 2004. Today, the company has grown into three successful branches across the East Midlands, employing over 60 staff.
Ed Holder, Managing Director NTG England said: “After accepting this leadership position in September 2024, I have been focused on supporting the restructure of the business in several key areas. I am 100% committed to ensuring that NTG England maintains strength and agility within the timber and construction industry. I am looking forward to leading our experienced NTG England team, and I am determined to drive the group forward – utilising our potential for growth and success.”
When SV Timber joined the NTG England branch network, SV Timber customers benefitted through access to a broader range of products and services available through NTG, and Ed continued to contribute to the business in a strategic capacity.
