Mokkiten Japan 2023 starts with fresh zeal and excitement. The event that started today on October 5 will continue till October 7 at the Port Messe Nagoya (Nagoya City International Exhibition Center) 1st Exhibition Hall, Outdoor. This three day event starts with the aim to exhibit and introduce excellent domestic and foreign wood processing machinery, forestry machinery, and wood recycling equipment. It also come with the purpose to promote the commerce and trade in the wood processing industry. Sponsored by the Japan Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers Association, this event is here to further encourage the development of the industries with exchange of ideas and values.
The exhibition that is one of the largest comprehensive exhibition of wood processing machinery in Japan is now in its 46th year of celebration. This time the exhibition will be held over an area of approximately 20,000 square meters. The place of exhibition being properly connected to Kinjofuto Station on the Aonami Line, making it a very convenient exhibition venue for visitors.
The theme of this exhibition is “Work that connects forests and people.” Japan with a rich content of forest resources has taken up the initiative to arrange an event like this to promote the best uses of its renewable resources. In order to make the event more successful all kinds of new technologies are being introduces using DX for the future of wood industry. The event also encourages the use of advanced image processing, AI, IoT, robots, etc. that solves the problem of labor shortage. The event is bringing together the cutting-edge technologies and solutions that will create a prosperous future society. With various domestic manufacturers and sales trading companies, many overseas manufacturers have also gathered together to bring out the newly developed processing technologies for lumber, plywood, laminated wood, woodworking, pre-cuts, ceramic siding, resins, etc., as well as cutting tools, paints, adhesives, dryers, etc. A wealth of cutting-edge information on dust collection, construction, furniture hardware, DIY, and related equipment will be provided to visitors. Beside the elaborate showcasing of the products and the solutions, various symposium and seminars by universities and research institutions will also be there for the visitors.
