MiCROTEC is ready to participate in Drema Fair 2024 edition which will be held from September 10 to 13 in Poznan, Poland. MiCROTEC is excited to be a part of this show as they are going to celebrate their 40th anniversary by showcasing their cutting-edge log solutions.
Visit MiCROTEC at Hall 6, Booth 27 to explore the Logeye, their cutting-edge multi-sensor scanner for real-shape and quality assessment of logs. Experience a live demonstration of the groundbreaking Logeye Stereo, the transverse stereoscopic real-shape scanner for logs. MiCROTEC is suggesting the visitors and participants to grab this opportunity to witness their avant-garde technology in action. Even, visitors will get the chance to discover how it can transform one’s operations.
Let’s take a quick glance on the Logeye and Logeye Stereo
Logeye – The multi-sensor real shape and quality scanner for logs
The modular Logeye multi-sensor scanner utilises laser, colour, and X-ray channels to provide a wealth of accurate data for log sorting and cutting optimisation based on overbark and underbark diameter, length, curvature, and taper, as well as internal quality features. Rock-solid hardware, modularity, stability and innovative technology make the Logeye the most versatile scanner for a sawmill.
Benefits
Attached with MiCROTEC Connect
As a part of the MiCROTEC Connect solution, Logeye is the link between the logyard and the sawline. The Logeye recognises every single log throughout a multitude retrieving the cutting solution computed by the CT Log together with the best angle rotation for the cut. In combination with the CT Log and the Goldeneye scanners, the quality of each board is monitored, knowing at any time from which log and in which position a board comes from.
Powered by MiCROTEC Ai
All MiCROTEC quality scanners, from log to finished board, now incorporate Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning AI). The combined AI expertise from all MiCROTEC companies is unified within the MiCROTEC AI platform, elevating the potential of Deep Learning AI in the wood industry to an entirely new level.
Logeye Stereo
MiCROTEC’s Logeye Stereo stereoscopic imaging system is the only scanner globally that delivers a complete 360° scan of a log as it rolls into the carriage, headrig, end dogger, or transitions from a transverse to a lineal conveyor. Because the scanning occurs during transfer, the log is fully optimised and ready for sawing the moment it is secured or passed through the sawline.
Benefits
A patented revolution in carriage scanning
Logeye Stereo significantly increases throughput speed and enhances recovery by capturing the entire surface of the log without any shadows or occlusions. Additionally, the scanner can detect the log’s rotation at any stage of the process, enabling full rotation optimisation and turn correction—capabilities that were previously only achievable on lineal scanning lines.
Providing unparalleled pattern optimisation
In combination with MiCROTEC’s Maxicut cutting optimiser and MiCROTEC’s Optiline, the Logeye stereo provides full transparency of the optimised solution overlayed on the live image of the real log.
Touchscreen Display
Touchscreen display for controlling the carriage operations and the cutting optimisation. The operator can take action at any time during the optimisation or cutting of the log having the possibility to manually change a cut solution board by board.
