
In anticipation of the upcoming LIGNA trade fair, Leitz has announced significant expansions to its portfolio of woodworking solutions, alongside speaking about the globally active Brucklacher Group. During a dedicated press conference, held earlier today, CEO Juergen Koeppel revealed that Leitz, along with sister companies Boehlerit and Bilz, now form the newly-established Brucklacher Group. With over 4,000 employees across 16 production sites and 137 locations worldwide, the group anticipates generating an annual turnover of approximately €450 million.
Leitz’s expanded portfolio, showcased by CEO Juergen Koeppel and R&D Manager Andreas Kisselbach, includes innovative tools designed for increased efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced sustainability:
- Compact Hogger: Designed for cost-effective processing, this tool provides universal applicability across panel materials without compromising quality and durability.
- PolyCut Circular Sawblade: Specially developed for precise and efficient cutting of thermoplastics, ensuring minimized material melting and reducing the need for costly reworks.
- ProfilCut Q Diamond: This edge-processing innovation features constant-diameter diamond tooling that is resharpenable up to five times, significantly reducing downtime and adjustment efforts.
- WhisperCut PLUS: An advanced jointing cutterhead optimizing precision and sustainability, designed for industrial furniture production, featuring improved durability, efficiency, and lower operational costs.
- Hydro Planer/Profile Cutterhead: Featuring a closed hydro clamping system, this tool meets growing demands in industrial woodworking for cleanliness, low maintenance, and reliability.
- Hydro Planer Cutterhead for Textured Surfaces: Targeting trends in modern timber façades, this specialized tool delivers consistent, high-quality textured finishes essential for aesthetic construction elements.
- HeliPlan Cutterhead: Now enhanced with a wear-protected body, this high-performance cutterhead promises improved stability, longer tool life, and superior performance on abrasive materials.
- DFC Extraction Hoods: Offering tailored solutions for ergonomic, energy-efficient, and clean work environments across various industries, these customizable extraction systems enhance safety and operational efficiency.
