On October 25, 2024, Kronospan hosted its 2024 China Distributor Executive Forum at Deberco Business Park in Chengdu’s Wuhou District. The event, organised by the Kronospan Group and hosted by Cloris, the exclusive distributor for Southwest China, brought together senior leaders from the group and representatives from China’s seven regional distributors. The forum focused on the brand’s growth trajectory and strategic objectives, offering an opportunity for a focused dialogue on its future plans.
Key participants at the forum included Mr. Hayrettin Akgun Okay, CEO for the Middle East and China, and Ms. Oana Bodea, CEO of Kronospan Romania. Both attended in person to discuss Kronospan’s global strategic initiatives and the crucial role of the Chinese market in the company’s worldwide expansion. During the event, Mr. Andy Han, Business Director for Kronospan China, presented an in-depth analysis of the entire product range’s growth path. Meanwhile, Ms. Kun Du, Marketing Manager for China, outlined the company’s strategic activity plan for the Chinese market in 2025.
The forum also highlighted the new Kronodesign® series concept, which was well-received by attendees for its innovative approach to design.
Adding to the event’s appeal, renowned Chengdu-based independent designer Kielo was a special guest speaker. She shared insights into the latest trends in Chinese home design, with a focus on the growing consumer demand for personalized options. Kielo’s expertise provided valuable guidance for Kronospan to better align with the evolving preferences of the Chinese market.
The event strengthened Kronospan’s presence in China, reaffirming the company’s commitment to market growth and innovation. Kronospan will continue its focus on the Chinese market as a key participant in Guangzhou Design Week from December 6 to 9, where the company will unveil a new range of imported panel designs tailored to Chinese households. These designs are aimed at delivering high-quality, sustainable options to meet the needs of local consumers.
