In January 2026, Kneho-Lacke and Välinge Innovation formed a strategic partnership to license and enhance Acoustic Coating, an advanced solution applied to the underside of flooring panels for superior sound reduction.
The coating, developed and supplied by Kneho-Lacke, a renowned expert in UV coatings, is offered in a broad selection of colours. Its customizable formulation allows flooring manufacturers to meet specific performance needs while improving acoustics without sacrificing design versatility or manufacturing efficiency.
“Kneho-Lacke brings decades of expertise in UV coating technology, and we continuously refine the formulation to deliver a scalable acoustic solution suitable for all types of wood and laminate flooring,” says Bernd Dinkelborg, Head of Sales at Kneho-Lacke.
Under the partnership, Välinge Innovation licenses the Acoustic Coating technology to flooring manufacturers, while Kneho-Lacke distributes the coating through its worldwide network of resellers and partners.
Välinge offers in-house acoustic testing, including impact and In-room walking sound tests, to ensure reliable, measurable performance and support partners throughout product development.
