KLEIBERIT always believes in sustainability and for that they are always in search of sustainable innovations. KLEIBERIT has bagged the EMICODE® label for their products.
In order to be awarded the EMICODE® label, manufacturers need to submit their products for extensive testing at renowned institutes. Based on scientific test results, products are classified into different emission classes. Only products complying with the most stringent emission limits are awarded the EMICODE® label.
The label offers consumers, craftsmen and architects guidance to decide which materials offer maximum assurance of indoor air quality and guarantees optimum health protection and a high level of environmental compatibility.
Which seal classes are distinguished?
EC 1 Premium
Premium class. Limit values are again significantly lower than EC1. It sets the limit of what is technically feasible
EC 1
Elevated class. Products with this seal meet the highest environmental and health standards.
EC 2
Base class. Products meet the basic requirements for obtaining the EMICODE® label and are low in emission.
