Biesse, a global leader in manufacturing machinery for wood, glass, stone, plastic, and composite materials, successfully hosted its flagship event, Inside Biesse 2024, from August 8 to 10 at its Bengaluru Showroom. The three-day event drew industry professionals, woodworking enthusiasts, and furniture manufacturers to explore Biesse’s latest advancements in technology and machinery.

The event kicked off with the inaugural lamp lighting ceremony, graced by Mr. Narsi D. Kularia, Managing Director of NARSI Group, and Mr. Jagdish Kularia, Director of NARSI Group. The ceremony was followed by a welcome address from Souma Ray, Director of Sales & Business Development at Biesse, and a vibrant Bharatanatyam performance that set a cultural tone for the occasion.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Souma Ray remarked, “Inside Biesse is a comprehensive platform for showcasing our commitment to innovation and excellence, particularly within India’s rapidly growing market.” This sentiment was echoed throughout the event, especially during a presentation celebrating Biesse India’s milestone of exporting 10,000 machines to over 75 countries.

A series of insightful sessions followed, with key industry figures like Mr. Chintan Parekh, Joint Secretary of AFMT, and Mr. Gopal Dwivedi from LIVSPACE discussing emerging trends, multi-materiality, and collaboration in the modern manufacturing landscape. Live demonstrations of advanced technologies such as 5-axis CNC machining and edge banding captivated attendees, illustrating Biesse’s cutting-edge capabilities.

A key development at the event was the launch of the Bangalore chapter of the Association of Furniture Manufacturers & Traders (AFMT), with Biesse playing a significant role in promoting BIS standards and supporting furniture manufacturers in Karnataka.
