With a heavy heart the Felder Group commemorate the loss of its founder Johann Felder. Johann Felder was not only a motivating and visionary mentor but also a dear friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him and working with him throughout his life.
Kommerzialrat Johann Felder (1930-2021), founder and long-time managing director of the Felder Group, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on December 7 after a brief but severe illness. With his passing, his family as well as the company’s employees are losing an inspiring and striking personality, who turned the Felder Group into the successful family business it is today.
Johann fought cancer in the past years, but never lost his positive charisma and faced life courageously. To our great sadness he has now lost this fight.
Johann leaves behind a successful family business that would not be the same without his inspiration and optimism. He often said: “We must listen to the younger generations and form our Felder Group together – always remain reliable.”
These thoughts are carried forward by Hansjörg and Martin Felder, who lead the Felder Group, and are also embedded in the culture of his grandchildren Daniel, Patrick, Tamara, and Alexander Felder, who form the 3rd generation of the family business.
