Innovations, networking and business growth best define the current state of Indian woodworking industry as IndiaWood opens its gates today. Starting today, IndiaWood will run till June 06 at Bengaluru, India. Post pandemic, IndiaWood has been a long awaited live event in the south east Asia as India gears up for large scale manufacturing.
At the inauguration, the organizers Nuremberg Messe recalled the importance of IndiaWood which has always been a platform for showcasing latest technology. With a vision to expand, explore and equip the industry with the latest European technologies, many European companies are here with their latest innovation. Also noteworthy this year, is the formation of Indian Woodworking Machine Manufacturers and Traders Association. Ashok D’Souza, the president of the Association mentioned that it has been the need of the hour.
The fact that face to face events can never be replaced was reminded by the Eumabois president, Juergen Koeppel. This is quite evident in the faces of eager woodworking enthusiasts who are filling up the aisles of the halls, and the sound of the machines making the opening of IndiaWood a grand success.
