IFMAC & WOODMAC 2022 to revive market resilience

IFMAC & WOODMAC to present latest technologies to increase the resilience of the Indonesian furniture industry post-pandemic. The Indonesian furniture industry has shown its resilience in overcoming the impact of the pandemic. Furniture industry players are able to adapt and experience significant growth. In meeting growth needs, industry players need the latest technologies which can be found at the International Furniture Manufacturing Components (IFMAC 2022) exhibition which is ready to be held at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran on September 21 – 24, 2022. IFMAC 2022 is the largest trade exhibition in Indonesia that serving the furniture production industry, there will also be an exhibition that will present the WOODMAC 2022 wood processing machines.

“With the postponement of the iFMAC exhibition for 2 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s IFMAC & WOODMAC is the moment that industry players have been waiting for to meet their needs,” said Sofianto Widjaja, General Manager of PT Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI) , the organizer of the IMFAC WOODMAC 2022 exhibition. “IFMAC and WOODMAC 2022 will support the growth of furniture production in Indonesia by connecting local furniture industry manufacturers with high-tech machine suppliers. This collaboration will ultimately raise the standard of furniture made in Indonesia to become international-class products that meet the demand for exports and domestic sales,” added Sofianto Widjaja.

WAKENI’s collaboration with Deutsche Messe, which is the organiser of the world’s largest wood machinery exhibition, LIGNA, is attracting more European and other global companies to come explore the Indonesian market through iFMAC. Hundreds of exhibitors will be present from various countries including Austria, Australia, China, Finland, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, United States of America, Singapore, and Germany.
