Under the motto WOOD Vibes, the IMA Schelling Group will be presenting its comprehensive solution expertise in both wood processing and the board industry at the LIGNA in Hannover from May 15 to 19, 2023. The two business areas woodworking and board are represented with two stands at the fair.
The Combima combined sizing and edge processing machine , the highly flexible IMAGIC L1 drilling machine and the fh 5 panel dividing saw with robot handling: These are the machines at the stand in Hall 12. Visitors can experience not only three efficient, individually adaptable high-tech machines for different types of wood processing live . The new aimi software developed by IMA Schelling , which is responsible for controlling and networking the machines and the entire system, will also be presented.
Self-developed software
“The machines at LIGNA show our comprehensive system competence in wood processing,” emphasizes Simon Waterbär, Director of Sales at the IMA Schelling Group. “Not only do we offer a comprehensive portfolio of highly developed machines, but with aimi we also offer a consistent software solution that is ideally tailored to the machines and offers all the options for networking the machines and controlling the system”.
As further highlights, customers and visitors to the stand can find out about the new Combima slide-in system and the further developed robotic sorting plug-in cell, about the high-performance hl 1 cut and about edge handling. In addition, the consulting team from the Consulting division will present their solutions for the woodworking industry and concepts for optimal production.
Solutions for the panel industry
The Board division will provide an overview of its technologies for conveying, lifting, sorting and storing boards in Hall 26. With its intelligent and high-quality cutting, logistics and packaging solutions, the business unit is aimed at manufacturers in the wood fiber board, plywood board and solid wood board sectors as well to record processors.
Together with two regional partner companies from Austria, the companies Künz Kranbau and LTW Intralogistics, IMA Schelling Board presents itself as an attractive partner for high-quality automation solutions in the board-producing industry.
