Hymmen exhibition at Tech-Together

Hymmen GmbH Maschinen- und Anlagenbau is set to host its third in-house exhibition at its technical center in Rödinghausen as part of the Tech-Together 2024 event. Scheduled for October 8-9, 2024, the exhibition will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, featuring live demonstrations, expert presentations, and discussions centered on the latest advancements in woodworking technology.

Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the production of the “Hymmen Collection 2024” using the state-of-the-art Digital Lacquer Embossing (DLE) technology, a process that has gained global recognition for its high-quality output. Attendees can also explore digital décor printing and inspect various flooring samples, providing a hands-on experience with the products.

A key attraction for engineered wood customers will be the new laboratory press in the adjacent hall, designed to test pressing processes for products such as SWP and plywood. Hymmen’s advanced lacquer finishing technology, including the Calender Coating Inert (CCI) system, will also be showcased, highlighting its capability to produce high-gloss and super-matt surfaces.

The exhibition will feature Hymmen’s latest Industry Intelligence solution, smart2i, which enables real-time monitoring and analysis of production data via cloud-connected dashboards. This cutting-edge tool empowers users to optimize production efficiency by accessing critical data anytime, anywhere.

A highlight of the event will be a keynote speech by Ingo Laqua, Managing Director of CIM Aachen GmbH, who will discuss production controlling and smart2i technology on October 8, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.

Tech-Together, launched in 2021, brings together leading woodworking machine and plant manufacturers from the Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL) region. The initiative was created to foster personal exchange in the woodworking industry, particularly after the disruption of major events due to the pandemic. Almut Rademacher from the association owl maschinenbau: “We think it’s just great that the companies from OWL have put together such a great initiative on their own initiative and that the in-house exhibitions were so successful that the format will be repeated. We have seen that the customers have accepted the event format well and have embarked on a “round trip through OWL”. The special thing about the OWL region is that we have a unique concentration of the woodworking industry in Germany: concentrated innovative power made in OWL. I have already marked the date in my calendar.”

“The event format provides a combination of an in-house exhibition and virtual content, with the content being individually organized and the responsibility of the individual participants. You can find more details and the option to register on the event page: www.tech-together.de
