HOLZ-HANDWERK

HOLZ-HANDWERK sharpens focus and sets course for another successful edition that is scheduled to run from March 19 to 22, 2024 at the Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg. Despite the cancellations of some major machine manufacturers: “Holz-Handwerk is on track”, according to the tenor of the trade fair organisers. Currently, 300 exhibitors have registered and 20,000 m² of net hall space have been booked. And thus, the organizers VDMA and NürnbergMesse are confident.

HOLZ-HANDWERK carries forward more than three-decade long tradition of being a crossroad event for woodworking and wood processing industry. It offers visitors a unique blend of machinery, hardware, materials, and tools. Four intensive days of networking will be the way to accelerate business opportunities, build relations, capture innovations in real time and further support woodworking/wood processing community.

In addition, support programme of HOLZ HANDWERK will provide thematic sessions and panel expert discussions with critical insights into the importance of new business and operating models, needed to navigate the new complexities of their ongoing remastering, because success of innovation stands in active collaboration between industry, academia and research.

Focal points of the event were presented during the EUMABOIS General Assembly on the 6th of October in Venice. As during the previous editions, even this time, EUMABOIS stands with Holz-Handwerk in common goal of boosting the attractiveness of the woodworking machinery sector and further advocate for the integrity of European brands.

HOLZ-HANDWERK is where the woodworking and wood processing trades come together in their most intensive form: With plenty of time for personal discussions with customers, providing individual explanations of machines and tools, and testing them out in person. This familiar, relaxed and results-focused atmosphere is what makes HOLZ-HANDWERK so popular with tradespeople from throughout Europe. For the 2024 edition, this clear focus on the practical interests of tradespeople has been further sharpened. “There is no question that we see ourselves as the central starting point for all professional carpentry needs,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director HOLZ-HANDWERK at NürnbergMesse.
