The HASSLACHER Group was awarded the recognition prize as part of the Styrian Timber Construction Award 2025 for its innovative office and administration building at the Preding site. The award ceremony took place during a festive ceremony at the Orpheum Graz. The new office building of HASSLACHER PREDING Holzindustrie GmbH convinced the jury with its successful combination of architecture, craftsmanship and sustainability.
The three-storey building impressively demonstrates the performance of modern timber construction systems and sets new standards for office buildings in terms of sustainable construction.
“This award is a great honour for us,” explains Christoph Kulterer, CEO and owner of the HASSLACHER Group. “With this project, we wanted to show what is possible with wood and our own timber construction products – from planning to industrial prefabrication and assembly.
