Firefly AB – one of the international fire protection companies that has been helping industrial operations protect their processes from costly has decided to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, Firefly US LLC, based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“The purpose of the company is primarily to strengthen support for our American distributors and to create a solid foundation for continued growth in the North American market. With a local presence, we will be able to offer faster service and greater availability for both customers and distributors,” commented Anders Bergström, CEO of Firefly AB.
The new operation will commence in the second quarter of 2025. Firefly US LLC will focus on aftermarket services for the North American market, including service, technical support, and commissioning of Firefly’s advanced fire protection systems. The company will also offer spare parts for the North American market.
Most fire extinguishing systems in the market are designed to protect the facility from total loss – not to safeguard individual pieces of machinery. Firefly thinks differently and aims to act before the fire causes damage to one’s plant. Whether someone wants to protect his production line from prolonged standstill, or reduce the number of short stoppages due to small fire incidents, Firefly has the solution.
