Finnos, a leading innovator in board scanning technology, has announced a significant agreement with Westas Group to supply advanced scanning systems for Raunio and Pihlava Sawmills. This delivery will include a total of four Finnos Board Scanners, two each for green grading and dry grading at both sawmills. Additionally, the dry grading scanners will be equipped with strength grading software modules to enhance sorting precision and quality control.
The Finnos transversal board scanner, renowned for its cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) based defect detection, offers some of the industry’s most advanced scanning capabilities. By combining modern scanning technologies with AI, the system enables Westas to detect even the smallest material defects, optimizing grading accuracy and efficiency.
