Fimma Maderalia 2026

The road to one of Europe’s premier woodworking and funiture indutstries events has officially begun. On the afternoon of January 12, the atmosphere at the FEVAMA (Regional Federation of Wood and Furniture Entrepreneurs) headquarters in Valencia was one of anticipation and strategic alignment.

Leading companies from the wood and carpentry sector gathered to hear the roadmap for the upcoming FIMMA + Maderalia, set to take place at Feria Valencia from November 10 to 13. The event, convened by the carpentry association ASEMAD, served as a launchpad for what promises to be a pivotal edition for the industry.

High-Level Strategy Meets Local Expertise

The presentation was spearheaded by two of the most influential figures in the Spanish woodworking landscape: Alejandro Bermejo, who notably wears three hats as the President of the Maderalia Organizing Committee, FEVAMA, and ASEMAD (as well as Vice President of Feria Valencia), and Alejandro Roda, the director of FIMMA + Maderalia. They were joined by Rafael Pérez, the general secretary of FEVAMA.

More than thirty leading companies attended to get a first-hand look at the “keys” to the next edition. The consensus? The prospects are excellent. The leadership team outlined a refreshed vision for 2025 that rests on three strategic pillars:

  1. International Expansion: A rigorous focus on attracting high-value international buyers to Valencia.
  2. New Visitor Profiles: expanding beyond traditional carpentry to include professionals from the contract and architecture sectors.
  3. Timber Construction: A major push to highlight sustainable timber construction, reflecting the global shift toward eco-friendly building materials.

Strength in Numbers: The ASEMAD Grouped Participation

Perhaps the most significant takeaway for the attendees was the announcement of the ASEMAD grouped participation initiative.

Trade fairs of this magnitude can sometimes be daunting for individual companies to navigate alone. Recognizing this, ASEMAD is launching a joint exhibition space designed to act as a “reference point” for the carpentry sector.

This collaborative zone will concentrate the latest innovations in one accessible hub, ensuring that professional visitors can easily access the best the sector has to offer. For smaller companies, this is a game-changer. It offers the visibility of a major stand with the support of the association.

“It represents a solution so that all participants achieve the desired visibility within the broad showcase of FIMMA + Maderalia.”Alejandro Bermejo, President of Maderalia & ASEMAD

A Surge of Optimism for November

The reaction from the business leaders in attendance was decidedly positive. There is a palpable sense that the sector is ready to invest in platforms that drive genuine business growth.

Alejandro Bermejo noted the strong turnout as a clear indicator of market sentiment. “The large attendance at this presentation… is, without a doubt, a sign of the good prospects and the great expectation surrounding the next edition,” he stated.

He emphasized that initiatives like the grouped space allow companies to commit to the event with confidence. It bridges the gap between small local artisans and the massive scale of an international expo.

Looking Ahead

As the industry looks toward November, the numbers speak for themselves. With a track record of nearly 450 direct exhibitors and expectations to exceed 35,000 professional visitors, FIMMA + Maderalia has consolidated its position as a heavyweight event at Feria Valencia.

For the members of ASEMAD, the 2025 edition isn’t just another trade show; it is an opportunity to stand together, showcase the versatility of wood, and capture the attention of a changing global market.
