Felix Schoeller Group welcomes 2023 with a new management

A brand-new Management Board will take the helm for Felix Schoeller Group in 2023. Hans-Christoph Gallenkamp will once again focus more on his duties as CEO with regard to strategic concerns as of January 1, 2023, as he will no longer be in charge of worldwide sales as part of the reorganisation.

• Astrid Enge joins the holding management as the new CFO

Matthias Breimhorst, the former CFO, will assume the responsibilities of CSO. He will be in charge of managing the supply chain and conducting global sales in his new position as CSO. His duties include, among other things, improving and strategically expanding the group’s global sales efforts on the market for premium specialty papers. “Not least in the currently challenging times, it is particularly important to us to be a reliable partner and to develop new paths and solutions for the future together with our customers,” says Breimhorst.

Astrid Enge, a recent addition to the holding company management, will take on the role of CFO. In the area of mechanical and plant engineering, Astrid Enge has a wealth of experience working as the managing director of numerous family businesses. She most recently served as the SAACKE Group’s chief financial officer. “We are pleased that Ms. Enge is strengthening us with her extensive expertise in the field of finance. She focuses on the financial performance and development of the group,” said Gallenkamp.

The members of the Executive Board of the Felix Schoeller Group are still Georg Haggenmüller (COO), Michael Szidat (CEO Americas) and Yong Li Gao (Vice CEO APA).

The Felix Schoeller Group designs, produces, and sells premium speciality papers for a variety of uses and market niches in several global markets and sectors. The broad range of products includes photo and digital printing papers, decorative papers for the furniture and wood industries, release papers for medical devices and industrial applications, nonwoven wallpapers, sublimation papers for clothing, flexible paper composites for packaging, and papers for industrial and commercial use.
