The 16th edition of VietnamWood is set to open exactly one year from 2024 November. The show will kick off it’s gate on November 19, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center. Positioned within Vietnam’s thriving woodworking industry—a vital export-driven sector of the economy—the event promises to be a cornerstone for business opportunities and innovation.
Sustainability and Digitisation are focal topics of the upcoming VietnamWood edition. More than 450 exhibitors coming from more than 28 different counties will have once again the opportunity to showcase their products at more that 20 thousand sqm exhibition venue. As part of the mutual pluriannual cooperation, main aspects of the exhibition were presented at the EUMABOIS General Assembly held in Helsinki last September. In the light of such partnership they are delighted to inform that both associations and companies that belong to the EUMABOIS network will be able to get beneficial renting rates.
Vietnam has a firm footing as the world’s second-largest furniture exporter, surpassing China as the most significant furniture exporter to the U.S. Vietnam’s timber and forest products are exported to over 140 countries and territories, of which the main markets are the U.S., the E.U., Japan, China, and South Korea. These five significant markets account for about 90% of Vietnam’s total wood and wood products exports.
Statistics of the General Department of Vietnam Customs show that the country’s export turnover of wood and wood products is estimated at 15.8 billion USD in 2022, of which 10.92 billion USD came from timber products, up 6.7% year-on-year. Vietnam Timber & Forest Products Association stays positive on targeting 7-9 percent growth of Vietnam’s wood industry for export revenue of $18 billion or more in 2023.
