The Eurobois trade fair returns to Eurexpo Lyon to showcase the major transformations defining the timber industry from February 03 to 06, 2026. Built around three core pillars—Innovation, Expertise, and Sustainable Commitment—the 2026 edition offers a solution-oriented program tailored to the sector’s evolving needs. Attendees will explore critical topics ranging from regulatory changes and environmental transitions to the latest in wood applications, job creation, and professional training.
The industry’s unmissable event
Against a backdrop of ever-stricter regulatory requirements, energy instability and generational renewal, timber industry professionals are seeking concrete solutions to improve production, anticipate standards,
promote local resources and attract new talent. Within this dynamic, Eurobois has established itself as a leading platform, supporting industry players in addressing these challenges.
With over 29,000 trade visitors and more than 520 exhibitors and brands at the last edition in 2024, and very positive momentum for 2026, Eurobois is confirming its status as a major event for the timber industry in France. Each edition brings together all the links in the value chain: primary and secondary processing design, timber construction, equipment, materials, tools and digital solutions.
“Eurobois 2026 comes at a time of profound change for the timber industry. Responding to the challenges of the energy transition, innovation and training, we have devised a programme that enables
professionals to look ahead to the future of the sector. Each event and presentation aims to stimulate discussion, encourage collaboration and provide practical preparation for everyone involved in the timber
industry for the changes they will face.”
The Design Laboratory: design, modularity and new trends

sustainability.

A space to reveal the talents of tomorrow
Eurobois 2026 will host a unique series of demonstrations and exhibitions dedicated to young talents in the woodworking trades in partnership with the Fédération Nine competitors from the French WorldSkills teams (carpentry, joinery, cabinetmaking), selected in Marseille last October, will take turns showcasing their expertise and the excellence of their craft in the WorldSkills area of the exhibition. Great preparation for the international stages of WorldSkills, which will be held in Shanghai.
Just Wood It: An educational demonstration project
Organised in collaboration with the Compagnons du Devoir, this project showcases all the stages in creating wooden chairs, from design to manufacture, with a focus on best practices and cooperation between roles. Visitors will be able to participate and try their hand at different activities: design, engraving, assembly etc.
This immersive experience provides a practical understanding of the manufacturing process and familiarizes visitors with woodworking skills. Eurobois will donate the chairs to a public institution on Lyon.
The Eurobois Awards, a springboard for innovation in the timber industry
At every show, this competition rewards the innovations presented by exhibitors. Fifteen solutions pre-selected by a committee of experts will be presented live at the exhibition in 2026. The innovations will be voted on by a jury of professionals, a jury of students from three different institutions (ENSTIB, ESB and CREAD) and the public. The awards will be presented by yachtsman Marc Thiercelin, the patron of this edition of the show.
