EGGER-Decor

EGGER with its sophisticated décor may finish the appearance from top to bottom for any kitchen, bathroom, or storage design, whether modern slab doors or traditional 5-piece, wrapped 3DL doors may be used in a project. The Group’s Eurodekor TFL panels or PerfectSense Lacquered Boards, along with complementary door mouldings and matching edge banding, or 3D Laminates (rigid thermofoils) from its partner suppliers, can be used to create these doors in any style that is required. EGGER’s reliable partners offer 5-piece, wrapped 3DL, and slab prefabricated doors with its decors for purchase through its Door Manufacturer Program. In the company’s Availability Guide, one may find comprehensive information about its partner door manufacturers, three-dimensional laminate suppliers, and five-piece door molding suppliers.

Five-Piece Shaker-Style TFL Door

This classic 5-piece door, which is made from Eurodekor TFL with matching edge banding, offers classic craftsmanship and a perfect match in texture, colour, and pattern. A ¼” TFL center panel and ¾” TFL rails and stiles are used in the fabrication of the doors. EGGER creates every material directly to ensure the greatest possible texture and colour match.

Application of MDF Mouldings to a TFL Panel

This five-piece door type features a variety of profiles with smooth, soft edges. 3D laminate-wrapped MDF moldings are applied to a ¼” thick Eurodekor TFL center panel to create doors. It has a realistic, real wood appearance thanks to its multidirectional grain patterns and matching woodgrain on the back. In collaboration with reliable partners, EGGER has created complementary MDF door mouldings for sixteen EGGER Decorative Collection decors.

3D laminate doors wrapped

By using a single panel of MDF substrate, this seamless fabrication technique simplifies the manufacturing process while giving the impression of a five-piece door. On the unfinished side of the MDF panel, the middle portion of the door is routed out to form a profile. After that, a vacuum press is used to stretch and wrap the foil around the MDF panel before covering the single panel with 3D laminate. There is no need for edge banding because this procedure seals the edges.

Square or arched frames and raised or flat center panels are only two examples of the countless profile variations that are possible. For 64 decors from the EGGER Decorative Collection, its partner firms provide complimentary 3D laminates. This makes it possible to match cabinet doors perfectly with other surfaces made with our TFL or laminates, like countertops and cabinet frames.

Lacquered Board Slab Doors and TFL

EGGER’s Eurodekor TFL or PerfectSense Lacquered Boards and perfectly matched edge banding make it simple to create contemporary, European-style slab doors. Any of the decors in the EGGER Decorative Collection, including our genuine embossed-in-register (EIR) woodgrain replicas, ultra-matte solids, and material reproductions, can be used to make this type of door. Our painting grade TFL and edge banding for solid color slab doors gives a surface that can be lacquered, giving you the most flexibility for any design concept at a reasonable price.
