As manufacturing company, the company see Climate Protection as their great duty. Therefore, they are committed to the NetZero target by 2050 at all EGGER plants. They already have a good starting position. However, to reach their ultimate goal, they have established a comprehensive and ambitious climate strategy.
Trend-setting commitment
EGGER is explicitly focussing on reducing emissions, not on offsetting outside their value chain. They pursue an ambitious, future-oriented climate strategy to reduce their Group-wide carbon footprint.
EGGER’s approach is comprehensive and Group-wide. In this way, they will steadily reduce their climate-impacting emissions and reduce them to net zero by 2050. They have their Corporate Carbon Footprint repeatedly analysed in detail and derive objectives and levers from it.
