DREMA to celebrate role of women in furniture industry

DREMA celebrates role of women in the success of Polish furniture industry. Success of women in Polish furniture industry is systematically growing and on September 14, during the DREMA 2023 fair in Poznań, women associated with the wood and furniture industry will meet at an annual event dedicated to them, organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and Grupa MTP to celebrate women in woodworking and furniture industry. This year’s meeting will be held under the slogan “How to be successful in a world of new challenges”.

Ph.D. Ewa Ratajczak stated, “My observations show that the share of women in the successes achieved by the Polish furniture industry is slowly but systematically growing. Talented, ambitious, determined and resourceful women are increasingly visible in many areas of the furniture industry and its surroundings. This happens in many countries and in many fields. Recently, there has even been talk of the phenomenon of womenomics (women+economics), meaning “women entering the game.”

The 4th meeting of women associated with the furniture industry “How to be successful in the world of new challenges” will be held during the DREMA fair, September 14, 2023. As part of the DREMA fair, the organizers: Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and Grupa MTP invite businesswomen operating in the furniture, interior design and wood industry to the fourth edition of the meeting entitled “How to succeed in a world of new challenges.”

Extraordinary female personalities will share their knowledge, passion and commitment – women’s contribution to the development of the industry is invaluable, and the diversity of perspectives is transforming the way we think about wood. The meeting will have a conference and networking character.

This year, the talks will be held under the slogan “Women in the world of new challenges”. The invited furniture business leaders will be looking for answers to the questions: what challenges face modern women, how to achieve work-life balance in a world of ever new challenges, how to motivate yourself to act, how not to lose confidence in yourself in the event of a momentary failure, and how to cope deal with this condition.
