DREMA 2023, one of the most awaited events of the wood and furniture industry, initiated a grand opening by welcoming nearly 400 companies from 20 countries. The event started on September 12 and will continue till September 15 with all its grandeur.

Expressing his views about DREMA, Andrzej Półrolniczak, President of the Association of Wood Processing Machines, Devices and Tools DROMA said, “The DREMA fair is the main platform for promoting the wood industry. Currently, among the identified greatest threats to the industry is, of course, inflation, but also the lack of availability of raw materials and qualified staff. In response to these challenges, all participants in the wood and furniture market should contribute to promoting Industry 4.0 in their companies and the development of automation. I am glad that our exhibitors and partners present at the fair respond to these needs.”

DREMA for professionals and enthusiasts-

Plenty of attractions welcomed the representatives of the wood and furniture industry, on the first day itself. The 10 all-day demonstration zones were full of life- with workshops, equipment presentations, and professional knowledge.

Award distributions-

The opening ceremony was further enhanced with the MTP Group Gold Medals which were awarded to the best products. At the DREMA 2023 fair, the traditional Acanthus Aureus awards were granted to 7 companies: FANUC Polska Sp. z o. o. (Pavilion 5, stand 8), Lazzoni Group Sp. z o. o. Sp. K. (Pavilion 5, stand 35), FELDER GROUP POLSKA Sp. z o. o. (Pavilion 5, stand 70, Pavilion 6, stand 12), BECKER POLSKA Sp. z o. o. (Pavilion 5, stand 54), SALVAMAC Sp. z o. o. (Pavilion 5, stand 68), IMOS AG (Pavilion 6, stand 26), MAT-TAR (Pavilion 6, stand 19).

The first day of the show experienced outstanding success while it gathered several exhibitors and visitors. The floor became the perfect stand for all woodworking professionals and woodworking enthusiasts as it showed a better future for the woodworking industry. Emphasising on the benefits of such events, Michał Strzelecki, Director of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers said, Innovation is an advantage in our hands. In this difficult time for the wood and furniture industry, this is particularly important. As furniture makers, we are grateful that we can meet here in Poznań and cooperate.”
