Schattdecor SE has sold its 50% stake in Fine Decor to the company’s founder, Hasan Sekmann. This strategic move marks the end of their collaboration, which, according to Schattdecor SE’s CEO, Roland Auer, did not yield the anticipated outcomes.
“True to our motto ‘One Source. Unlimited Solutions.’, we have continuously expanded our product portfolio over the past decades. In particular, we see the processing of new substrates, such as thermoplastic surfaces, as a promising field with great potential for our customers,” stated Auer.
Despite the dissolution of their partnership, Schattdecor remains committed to its strategic vision of developing and enhancing thermoplastic surfaces. The company plans to increase its investments in its technology and infrastructure to support this focus. Schattdecor has already built a robust foundation with successful brands, including the well-regarded Smartflex Nature furniture film.
For Schattdecor, the primary objective now is to ensure uninterrupted service to its customers and partners. The company assures that clients can continue to select products from Schattdecor or directly purchase Fineflex from Fine Decor.
