Deurotech Group, one of the leading specialists of wood-based panels and paper industry as well as environmental technologies recently declared that it continues a strong collaboration with Arauco Group. Deurotech Group supplies pioneering solutions for impregnation and resin production to Latin America for some times and this makes the bond stronger between these industry-honchos.
In 2023, the Deurotech Group, through its subsidiaries Vits Technology GmbH, IFA Technology GmbH and Wessel-Umwelttechnik GmbH further expanded its presence in Latin America.
ARAUCO Group – a major player in the forestry sector – has initiated orders for two new impregnation lines from Vits Technology for their Mexican plants in 6- and 9-feet width as well as the upgrade of two existing lines and one IFA. Besides this, IFA Technology will install a state-of-the-art resin reactor system
with a production capacity of 120 t/day to produce UF/MUF resin onsite ARAUCO´s facilities in Mexico.
Wessel-Umwelttechnik GmbH is delivering a heat exchanger (WERO) with estimated savings of 300 kW, promising substantial reductions in the plant’s operational costs. This aligns seamlessly with ARAUCO´s commitment to sustainability and an environmentally friendly carbon footprint.
Inserco, as a trusted partner and representative for Deurotech in Latin America, has played a crucial role in strengthening sales and service operations in this region. The machinery and plant engineers Vits Technology and IFA Technology offer coordinated process technology in surface converting from a single source: impregnation and coating lines as well as systems for resin production and preparation.
Sustainability has also become a major concern for Deurotech Group and they are efficiently handling energy-efficient, environmentally friendly systems through their ultimate innovation. These systems have become become increasingly important in the age of climate protection. Their particular focus is on energy recovery: the heat contained in the exhaust air is not released into the atmosphere, but is reused in the production process.
