CLASSEN Group is taking a step forward towards responsible spreading of its business through the establishment of its very own sustainability department to clearly define, consistently peruse, and effectively implement its sustainability goals. This department is headed by Sebastian Wendel, who has been making a significant contribution to the company’s sustainable orientation for many years. He is supported in this by Julie Quervel, granddaughter of the company founder. She is talking up the responsibility for monitoring and maintaining the sustainability indicators.
CLASSEN Group has been putting great stress on its motto of ‘Sustainability’. The company has always focused on product development, the design of energy-efficient systems, and the construction of renewable energies. The company attaches particular importance to the development of health and environmentally friendly products, all of which are certified with the Blue Angel due to their minimal pollution.
A cross-generational commitment to sustainability extends across the CLASSEN Group and the same motto is anchored on all levels of the company. The newly developed sustainable department is to create a strong connection among different areas of the company. The establishment of the sustainable department is no doubt a stronger approach that aims to strengthen the company’s move towards sustainability. Expressing his optimistic view Sebastian Wendel said, “We firmly believe that sustainability is not only an obligation, but also an opportunity for innovation and growth.” The family business that has always been environmentally conscious is now solidifying its commitment to a greener future through the establishment of this new sustainable department that comes with promising growth and development.
