“Your Home. Your CASA” served as the theme for the presentation of the new laminate line CASA by the Classen group. The development concentrated on the floor covering’s adaptable resilience for worry-free living in contemporary homes. CASA is currently adding a new collection – there are a total of six new decors in Classico. The unique aspect of it is that Classen is introducing the first laminate floor measuring 7 mm to the market with a water-resistant installation method.

Save energy with “CASA Classico”

In winter, heating accounts for 70% of all the energy used by individual residences. Therefore, picking the appropriate floor can offer extra support. The new CASA collection’s thermal conductivity and resilience to heat were evaluated in a lab by Classen . Due to higher floor heat absorption and a quicker rate of room heating, the lower the thermal resistance, the faster the space will warm up. The majority of these homes have underfloor heating. The rate at which body heat escapes to the ground is determined by thermal conductivity. Compared to a 12 mm thick laminate floor, the 7 mm thick CASA laminate floor has a 45% lower thermal resistance. With CASA, the thermal conductivity is also greatly reduced.

At ease with wetness

The CASA laminate is protected by the unique megaloc-aqua-protect technology from Classen, regardless of whether you spray, spill, or take a shower at home. The boards are secured against water infiltration at the joints and are even ideal for bathrooms. The risk of the edges swelling is substantially minimised and the floor is protected from below for a period of 24 hours since no water can get through the chamfer of the edge profiles.

This unique feature stands out in the NALFA (North American Laminate Flooring Association) testing process, where findings demonstrate that CASA much exceeds the NALFA standard. In the testing, the CASA laminate surfaces exhibit swelling behaviour in the highest rating class 1. This certifies that the Classen product outperforms similarly priced competitors’ water-resistant laminate floors in terms of performance. Furthermore, the rapid and simple installation of the floors is guaranteed by the megaloc-aqua-protect profile.
