The 2025 edition of CIFM / interzum guangzhou is scheduled to take place from March 28-31 at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, reaffirming its position as a premier platform for industry collaboration. Covering nearly 180,000 square metres, the exhibition will welcome over 1,500 exhibitors from across the globe. Coinciding with the second phase of the China International Furniture Fair, the event is expected to attract more than 210,000 trade visitors.
Driving Growth in Asia’s Expanding Furniture Market
Asia’s furniture market is on a strong upward trajectory, with revenue forecast to reach 172.8 billion US dollars by 2024, according to Statista, with a compound annual growth rate of 5.9% over the next five years. In China, the “new-for-old” policy is anticipated to drive significant consumer demand, with the home furnishings market projected to approach 5 trillion yuan by 2025.
CIFM / interzum guangzhou continues to play a key role in this growth, meeting Asia’s rising demand for premium furniture. The event will showcase seven major categories, highlighting advanced materials, innovative technologies, and trending designs in global furniture manufacturing.
Global Brands to Showcase in 2025
The 2024 edition attracted leading international and domestic brands such as IKEA, Holike, and Oppein, all seeking strategic partnerships. In 2025, the exhibition will once again act as a hub for top global enterprises looking to enter China and Asia’s flourishing home sector. Confirmed participants include industry giants like Germany’s Henkel and Rehau, Spain’s LamiGraf, and Indonesia’s Ateja. Key global pavilions, including the German, Turkish, and American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), will also be present at the event.
Strengthening Industry Connections
CIFM / interzum guangzhou is the only event in China endorsed by the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), representing over 700 companies. The event continues to drive innovation and foster collaboration within the furniture and woodworking machinery sectors on a global scale.
Shaping the Future of Furniture Manufacturing
Running alongside the China International Furniture Fair, the exhibition creates a connected ecosystem, linking furniture manufacturers with product developers. Under the 2025 theme ‘Play Bigger,’ the event will feature forums, curated showcases, and business matchmaking opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration and driving future industry growth.
