CFL Flooring (Creative Flooring Solutions), the world leader in SPC and hybrid flooring products, has announced that construction of its new manufacturing facility in North Vietnam is progressing well, with the first shipments expected in Q4 2024. This expansion is a key part of CFL’s strategy to solidify its position as the industry leader in diversified supply, with manufacturing hubs in Adairsville (Georgia, USA), China, and Vietnam.
The state-of-the-art facility, covering 750,000 square feet, will significantly increase CFL’s production capacity to meet the rising global demand for its innovative flooring solutions. Thomas Baert, president and co-founder of CFL, emphasized that this expansion is not just about growth in size but also a strategic move to provide partners with cutting-edge flooring products, reinforcing CFL’s leadership in the industry.
Baert also highlighted CFL’s commitment to sustainability, noting that the company is collaborating with the industrial zone in North Vietnam to introduce alternative energy sources, reducing the carbon footprint of its manufacturing processes.
CFL will continue to produce its popular Atroguard waterproof laminate, Firmfit Eco-Composite Flooring, and SPC and WPC products at its existing Vietnam facilities. However, the new facility will focus on more complex offerings, including the patented Novocore Q acoustic SPC, Made-to-Last anti-scratch SPC, and pre-grouted tile solutions. This will establish the new factory as a hub for innovation and enhanced production capabilities.
CFL CEO Tom Van Poyer underscored the importance of diversification in the face of global uncertainties, such as geopolitical tensions and economic fluctuations. The strategic expansion in Vietnam is designed to ensure CFL offers adaptable solutions to its partners and stays ahead of market trends.
Located near the port of Haiphong, the new factory offers significant logistical benefits, enabling faster and more efficient global distribution. CFL Flooring remains the largest manufacturer of SPC and hybrid flooring products worldwide, with over 3,500 associates across the globe. The company’s extensive patent portfolio is a testament to its commitment to innovation and protecting the value it delivers to customers.
