Bjelin is set to debut its latest innovations at The Flooring Show in Harrogate, taking place from September 15th to 17th, 2024. Among the highly anticipated releases is the Woodura Herringbone 2.0, a new high-tech herringbone flooring collection that offers enhanced durability and larger plank sizes.
“We’re excited to showcase our new flooring products,” said Simon Darbyshire, Managing Director of Bjelin UK. “Woodura Herringbone 2.0 combines elegant design with improved dent resistance and strength. We believe it will be a standout product at The Flooring Show.”
Bjelin’s Woodura technology, featured in both Woodura Herringbone 2.0 and Woodura Planks 3.0, delivers 100% real wood flooring that is three times stronger than traditional wood floors. This technology maximizes the use of raw materials while ensuring the creation of highly durable flooring solutions.
Additionally, Bjelin will introduce its eye-catching Contrast Collection, offering five striking color contrasts designed for both residential and commercial projects. “Our Scandinavian-designed floors are built to last for generations and provide superior quality for various settings,” Darbyshire added.
A key feature of Bjelin’s flooring is its advanced click installation technology, developed by its sister company Välinge Innovation. The floors utilize the 5G and 5G Dry leakproof system, ensuring quick, easy, and durable installation with watertight joints.
Visitors can view Bjelin’s latest collections in Hall Q, booth Q86. Bjelin is part of the Swedish Pervanovo group, a family-owned company with production facilities in Croatia. The group employs 2,200 people and generates close to 2 billion SEK in annual revenue. The founders of Bjelin are renowned for developing the world’s first laminate flooring in the 1970s and pioneering click flooring technology in the 1990s, which remains a cornerstone of the company’s product offerings.
Bjelin’s newest green innovation, Hardened Wood, made using patented Woodura® technology, will also be a focal point at the show. This eco-friendly flooring solution reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability and durability in the flooring industry.
