With its expanded and further developed PerfectSense product range, EGGER not only impresses its customers, but also the international jury of the German Design Award.

Since their introduction in 2015, PerfectSense MDF lacquered boards have successfully established themselves in the market thanks to their captivating look and feel. Since then, the furniture industry, architects, fabricators and end customers have been delighted with the matt and high-gloss surfaces. Driven by worldwide success, as well as continuous technological development, the wood-based materials specialist worked out an expansion of the PerfectSense product range and invested in a second production line at the Brilon (DE) site. Different PerfectSense lacquered board variants are now produced on both lines: PerfectSense Premium Matt and Premium Gloss as well as PerfectSense Feelwood. This innovative approach has now been rewarded with a special award: The PerfectSense lacquered boards product family was named “Winner” by the international jury of the German Design Award for its outstanding design quality.

The latest innovation, PerfectSense Feelwood lacquered boards, impressed international experts already in 2021 with its combination of a matt lacquer surface with textures that are synchronised to the respective decor image as well as anti-fingerprint properties.

With this innovation, EGGER is taking the topic of haptics to a completely new level, and this was immediately underpinned by two awards: The PerfectSense lacquered boards with Feelwood textures were awarded the Red Dot Award 2021 and designated as “Winner” at the German Innovation Award 2021.
