ANDRITZ unveils PrimePress Tri X Belt Press for ultimate flexibility

ANDRITZ – one of the innovators and leading suppliers of solutions to the pulp & paper sector brings all new PrimePress Tri X Belt press. It helps to transform the press section with this advanced belt press and experience unmatched flexibility for a diverse portfolio of kraft pulp-based MG and flexible packaging grades.

PrimePress solutions are the heart of the press section. The addition to suction press rolls is the PrimePress X shoe press. It can be installed in any multi-nip press configuration, or as a stand-alone single-nip press.

The press section, pre-assembled in ANDRITZ workshop for their customer Gascogne, comprises a PrimePress Tri X press configuration with a transfer belt. It offers sheet transfer through the press section with no open draw up to the 1st drying cylinder. This press configuration is specially developed for extremely low basis weights and offers high efficiency, excellent dewatering, smoothness development and bulk/porosity savings.
