ANCA, a pioneer in precision grinding solutions, proudly announces the opening of its cutting-edge Technology Center in Korea. Having provided sales and service support to various sectors, including the woodworking industry, for over 30 years in Korea, the opening of this new facility marks a major milestone for ANCA as it broadens its footprint in the Asian market.

Jake Farragher, General Manager of ANCA Asia, says, “ANCA’s newest technology center is a commitment to our customers in Korea. This investment in our global infrastructure enables our team to deliver premium sales and service support to this important and growing market. We understand the importance of offering customers local support and at our new facility we can showcase the capability of our flexible grinding machines, world-leading software, and market-first automation solutions.”
“Thanks to our long-standing partnership with SH International in Korea, we have a legacy of innovation with our customers in the market, and our local team at our new ANCA office is poised to facilitate our customers’ success into the future.”

“We are excited for our new center to serve as a hub for grinding excellence, innovation and collaboration, confirming our position as a global leader in the tool and cutter grinding industry and medical tools industry.”

For 50 years, ANCA has been at the forefront of providing innovative grinding solutions globally. The Korea branch, located near Seoul, is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology, including the ULTRA technology which features nanometer resolution control, essential for precise woodworking applications.

The demonstration facility offers firsthand experiences with ANCA’s MX and FX ULTRA machines, and showcases automation solutions via ANCA’s Integrated Manufacturing System (AIMS). Additionally, the facility provides extensive support and training services. The grand opening of the technology center saw attendance from key stakeholders and customers, industry partners, including those in the woodworking sector, and local dignitaries.

ANCA’s 50th anniversary celebrates a half-century of the company’s dedication to excellence and innovation in precision grinding technology, crucial for the woodworking and wood industry. The ULTRA machine range, equipped with nanometer technology, empowers customers in the wood industry to create the finest tools, offering unparalleled accuracy, quality, and surface finish. The integrated Manufacturing System (AIMS) represents a revolutionary leap in grinding technology. AIMS integrates, automates, and streamlines all processes needed to manufacture cutting tools, ensuring maximal precision and consistency while reducing downtime. This enables comprehensive, digitally connected, and automated production systems, specifically beneficial for creating cutting tools used in woodworking.
