Ahlstrom, a global leader in fiber-based specialty materials, has been awarded the Platinum Medal, the highest recognition level, in EcoVadis’ sustainability assessment. This achievement places Ahlstrom among the top one percent of companies evaluated over the past year.
The Platinum score reflects the company’s sustainability performance across four key categories: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized rating system that provides visibility into companies’ sustainability performance. The platform’s ratings are based on international standards such as the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and ISO 26000. EcoVadis’ evidence-based analysis offers companies an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement in their sustainability efforts.
