The 2023 dates of Afriwood Africa International Trade Exhibition for the Woodworking and Timber Products, Equipment & Machinery have been announced. The organizer Expogroup brings Afriwood to Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania, once again bringing top international exporters to the biggest upcoming markets in the continent. The exhibition will start in Ethiopia January 23 – 25, 2023, proceed to Tanzania February 23 to 25, 2023, and culminate in Kenya between June 1 – 3, 2023. The event will be co-located with Buildexpo Africa in all three countries.
Afriwood Trade Exhibition is the best place to source new woodworking products, tools, machinery and technology from around the world. The 3 day multi country international trade event brings exhibitors from 15 countries. Stand bookings are already brimming as exporters are rushing to block their spaces in order to get a foothold into the highly sought after markets in East Africa.
East Africa is one of the world’s largest untapped regions and is host to some of the fastest growing economies in Africa today. With a population access of over 400 million and an annual average economic growth rate of 10% over the past 15 years, East Africa presents a unique opportunity. In addition their strategic positioning as long-haul transfer hub and gateways for the East into Africa, East African countries are increasingly becoming important destinations for manufacturing. With the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA) also in force, companies are looking at another opportunity at increasing exports to Africa.
